Here is a synopsis of the Tandy’s last couple of weeks:
1) Brad and Boone get sick but not it's not West Nile from Leisure Lake trailer park.
2) We go to Point Pelee National Park – the most southern tip of Canada. Exciting.
3) We go to Target in Michigan, then to the water park in Sarnia, Ontario.
4) We visit Grandma & Grandpa in Wallaceburg.
5) I clean out my mother’s crawl space.
The Crawl Space:
When I moved out the summer before university I packed a few boxes of treasures to be stored away at my parents' house; everything from My Little Ponies to high-school transcripts. It was time to unload the junk of the past and to make a small dent in the endless clutter at my mom’s house.
I was able to part with about 25% of the “treasures” including all my unflattering pictures, a movie stub from Highlander II, a program for Miss Saigon (which I have never seen) and lots of receipts, scraps of paper and gum wrappers that I am sure at one time held great sentimental value. I was reminded of some odd little things from my past that I am sure you don't know about me, such as:
- I was a May Pole dancer in grade 2
- I successfully completed the Canada Fitness Test 9 times (1 bronze, 2 silver, 2 gold, 4 excellence awards)
- In grade 5 I won a geography award; the prize was 3 gourds
- In high school there was a girl in my art class that I nicknamed "Ruffles" just b/c she hated it and it made her mad
