Happy Birthday Robert

Linh’s husband, Robert, just returned from Atlanta where he was filming the upcoming movie We Are Marshall staring Matthew McConaughey. If you have heard the rumours that McConaughey split up with Penelope Cruz – IT’S TRUE!! You heard it here – on the Sue Tandy blog – first.

Robert’s birthday was yesterday and Brad took him golfing for the first time – apparently Robert is a natural golfer. Happy Birthday Bro.

My sister cried at the movie Cars. Then she got all misty-eyed retelling us the story of why and when she cried at Cars. She used to like the show Three Wishes. This show, now off the air, would travel to a town and all the local sad-sacks would come to a tent to tell their poignant stories. Then Amy Grant would pick the people with the most tear-jerking tales and make their dreams come true – normally something along the lines of wanting see Grandma walk again, specialized surgery, or speech therapy – and Linh would cry and cry. To make it nuttier, she would then watch the same episode right afterward, on another station, and in another time-zone, thereby starting the crying process all over again. Probably more or so, as she would then know when the saddest parts were coming.
