Sunday was Boone’s second birthday. I can’t believe he’s two already – I can’t believe it’s Thursday already!! We had a little party with balloons, kids, swimming and a barbeque. Some guests brought buckets to pick cherries off our tree – which has about a million cherries all ripe right now. Boone played with the kids, opened his gifts (which was heavily Thomas the Tank Engine themed), swam in the neighbour’s pool, ate lots of cake, chased around his new toy train for a couple hours and then crashed in his stroller while the adults drank coolers and blabbed about adult stuff.
Guest list included:
- Boone’s cousins, Austin & Maven, Auntie Linh, and Uncle Robert, who came home early from his movie-making to join the fun.
- Co-workers of mine, Penny and Lisa. Penny brought her family and Lisa wore a hat (see picture).
- Neighbours (mine and Linh’s)
- My Mother-in-law and Grandpa-in-law arrived after everyone left
