A load of (goose) crap!

During my lunch hour I have been walking down to the dock behind my workplace to sit and watch the birds and the waves and the ships, listen to the layers of sounds and feel the warm sun on my face. Before long I would find a stillness that rarely happens when you are sitting at a computer.

Weeks ago some Canada Geese also found solace on this dock and basically made it their new home/bathroom.

I’ve tried some other places – park benches, boat launches, rocks – and it’s just not the same. So much for peace coming from within! Oh well, the days are getting colder and I knew I’d have to have to find a new place before winter.

So here’s a small tribute to the dock, to the birds, to the sun and all those elements that made my summer!! ~Namaste~
