Two of Five

Things I’ve done in the past year that I’ve never done before:

• Be a single mom
• Mow the lawn
• Reset the wireless network
• Flirt with a young, hot pool boy
• Watch a middle-aged cover band play Flo Rider and The Eagles in the same set while I eat lobster

Things I do again that I didn’t (for whatever reason) for 8 years:

• Paint
• Sleep in the middle of the bed
• Order pizza with mushrooms
• Use my last name
• Trust my instincts, put my needs first and be grateful for everything I have.


Things I never have to do again:

• Argue about arguing
• Listen to experimental jazz
