Make me feel so fine...

For Christmas I received a wine journal to record the different wines I've been trying and learn how to rate them etc. It also adds legitimacy to my "hobby" of drinking wine. I am no aficionado, in fact my only criteria for my wine selections is that it's red, under $20, and either has a cool label or a comes in enviro-friendly packaging.

Here are my favourites so far:

2006, Fat Bastard Shiraz (bought it for the name, liked it for the full bodied grapeyness and smooth finish)

2005, Yellow Jersey Merlot (they also produce a very nice Pinot Noir for those who have seen the movie Sideways and can no longer buy Merlot -- or think for themselves:)

PS. There's a line for each entry that says "recommended by: _________" and so far no one has giving me any suggestions (hint, hint).
