Two weeks ago Brad’s Uncle Murray and his partner, Don, come to Windsor for a visit. They reside in San Francisco, love art, music, fine dining, and figure skating. While here, we took them to a local restaurant called Mezzo – it was good, especially considering it was a Monday night in Windsor, Ontario. I ordered the foie gras (I love my fatty organ meats!) and we had a bottle of Châteauneuf du Pape. Murray and I resolved that we would travel the world looking for the best foie gras and drinking red wine characterized as “jammy”.
Best quote of the evening --
Murray: All I want to know about Jesus is; was he really a carpenter? Did he make dinning room sets? And, if so, how much would that be worth in today’s market?
