Rec Room (check)

Happy belated Mother's Day to all the Moms I know. I had a very nice day - although not entirely relaxing. We finished the rec room in the basement. It looks fabulous; we are very proud. Here are the before, mid and after photos.


When we moved in the rec room floor was peeling up, the walls were fake wood panels and the coo-coo clock was hardwired using frayed lamp cord.



Demolition then took place; the ceiling tiles came down, the walls were insulated and re-studded, everything was rewired (including new surround sound), new flooring, new window, new trim, new paint – it seemed unending.



Then TA-DA! Four months later we have a new room for family recreation.
